Vegetarian Dumpling Stew. Hey guys I fancied a nice quick and easy stew so I just grabbed whatever I had and made a quick & easy meal. Anything I could use from a packet I did. This is a very different vegetable stew just packed with flavor - and is one of my family's most It is based on a recipe from one of my favorite cookbooks, Tis the Season - A Very Vegetarian Christmas.
It's so hearty, filling and delicious. Whilst it's a healthy vegetarian stew there's nothing to stop you cooking meat separately and adding it to the dish for those who like extra protein! Ingredients of Vegetarian Dumpling Stew

- You need 1 of egg.
- It's 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.

- Next, add tomato passata and some water (between 1 and 2 cups) with a crumbled stock cube. Bring to a boil.
- Season with salt, pepper, sugar and cayenne..
- Combine all the dumpling ingredients. Add one teaspoon worth of mixture in the boiling soup. Cover for 1 minute.
- When dumplings are cooked, serve. Enjoy :).
